I wanted to let you know that Zazzy's recall has improved wonderfully.
One night in Ft Greene Park she was playing in the middle of the field and suddenly took off in a shot, barking after something. This was very unlike her and she left the field into the darkness. I was on the opposite side and I would have had a hell of a time getting to her.
I shouted "touch!" just once and she instantly whipped around and rushed back to me like lightning. The people around me were amazed at her perfect response.
Recall is a lifesaving skill and exactly what I hoped for in our class with you. Thank you so much for your patience and guidance. You made a big difference for us. -- Chris

Just wanted to thank you, as what Una Mae learned in her basic obedience class basically saved her life today. I was at my friend’s house in the yard for a BBQ and Una Mae had something in her mouth. I gave her the drop it command and she obeyed and what came out was a bright pink block/cake of rat poison. I instantly called poison control and took her to the vet and all indicators are that she’ll be 100% fine. If she hadn’t learned drop it and ingested that entire piece, I can only imagine what I’d be dealing with. Cannot thank you enough and really have to say taking your class was some of the best money I’ve ever spent.

I am really grateful for the confidence our session gave me. The tips to gave me helped immesely. You're great at what you do and you made me feel capable of handling him (I had my doubts). Your sense of humor also made me take myself and this new dog thing not so seriously - and I desperately needed that!

I cannot believe the difference in Roscoe! I don't feel like my house is a reality TV show anymore. He is like a new dog since our last meeting and I could not be happier. Instead of thinking at least once a day about how I can understand why people return their dogs to the shelter I am actually enjoying him. I did not rush the food off the table after dinner tonight and I did not find him on the table! He is even acting better out of the house. He has always been good in the dog run, but for the last few days he has not been a punk (for lack of a better word) at all.

Just wanted to write and let everyone know how wonderful Renee is.
After a long ordeal of moving out of our house and living with our parents last summer, to finally moving into our new apartment in September, our dog Murphy developed a severe case of separation anxiety with constant barking that drove our neighbors bonkers and us almost out of our complex. Renee made a house call on a very cold and rainy Saturday and showed us what was needed to be done to help Murphy snap out of it. With all our dedication and constant hard work, the exercises and tools Renee provided us with worked. Murphy has finally stopped barking. According to our “Maintenance Guy” the other tenants thought that we got “RID” of Murphy because they haven’t heard a peep out of her.
Thanks again Renee for all your help, couldn’t have done it without you.
Thanks again for coming by last week. I enjoyed our time together. Ruby did too. You really calmed me down about my wacko dog. We are doing fine and I am more comfortable with my behavior with Ruby. I am accepting what I can and cannot change in Ruby. As result, I am enjoying her more. I am walking her with the extension leash again and she is happy. We both have fun with it.
