BOARD & TRAIN - for puppies under six months of age
Details:
--We use only positive reinforcement for puppy training.
--We only book one board and train puppy at a time.
--Pups are crated overnight and for downtime during the day.
--Training will consist of multiple 15-20 minute sessions per day.
--We have a large fenced-in yard for supervised playtime with our two friendly dogs.
--You will receive daily photos and/or videos or your pup.
--We send you short videos of the cues your pup learns.
--You will receive an owner lesson at the end.
--We also offer free Zoom or phone refreshers if needed for six months.
--If you have specific training needs not in the lesson plans outlined below, reach out! We can modify.

High School diploma - 1 week (7 nights)
-name recognition -taming that puppy biting -potty training -polite greetings (four on the floor) -teaching the pup to go to the crate on cue -establishing polite door and food bowl manners -acclimating to being left alone for short durations -dog socialization (with our dogs only) -socialization to novel items ("check it out") -hand targeting ("touch") -sitting on cue and waiting for a release -coming when called -lie down $1500 + sales tax |
Bachelors Degree - 2 weeks (14 nights)
-everything listed under "High School diploma" -leave it -drop it -go to place (and lie down) -polite leash manners -socialization outings (if the pup is fully vaccinated) -settling at your feet while on leash -impulse control exercises (for instilling patience) -stay -stand (a "stay" on all fours) $3000 + sales tax **Training is ongoing, and consistency will be the key to reliability as they mature! |

--We ask for a non-refundable deposit of $500 to reserve your space.
--Transport within 40-ish minutes of Palenville is free; transport for Westchester or NYC can be arranged for a fee.
--We are happy to give you a thorough virtual tour of our home and property, but if you are dropping off personally, we do ask that puppies be dropped off quickly and with no long goodbyes. All drop offs must be before 6pm so that puppies have time to adjust to the new environment before bed.
--We cannot accept dogs with aggression or anxiety issues for board and train, INCLUDING SEPARATION ANXIETY. If you are in need of behavior modification, please book us for private sessions!
