BOARD & TRAIN - for puppies under six months of age

We offer board and train in our home for basic manners for puppies UNDER six months of age. It's more work for us, but we love a clean slate! And we have the time and patience to repeatedly redirect those little shark teeth to appropriate items.

Details:

--We use only positive reinforcement for puppy training.
--We only book one board and train puppy at a time. So plan ahead!
--We require that your pup be crated overnight and for downtime during the day. You do not need to provide a crate.
--Training will consist of multiple training sessions per day, broken up into 15-20 minute trainings.

--We have a large fenced-in yard for supervised playtime, ball-chasing, or whatever your pup enjoys.
--Our vaccinated, friendly, experienced helper dogs will ensure that your little one receives appropriate dog socialization and plenty of play during their stay.
--You will receive daily photos and/or videos or your pup throughout their stay with us.
--You will receive an owner lesson at the end, either at our home or yours (or via Zoom if you are not local). Those doing the Bachelors Degree program will have the option to do one additional brush-up at a later date.
--If you have specific training needs outside of the lesson plans outline below, reach out!

--Although not all that common in young puppies, note that we do NOT accept dogs with aggression or anxiety issues for board and train. We strongly recommend that the owner be present for behavior modification, and it also would not be fair to our two resident dogs to welcome behavior issues into our home.

--The first step will be a free 15-20 minute Zoom session to ensure that we can meet your needs. Reach us here.
--We require proof of vaccination (pups should be up to date based on age and where they are in the vaccine schedule), our board & train registration form, and a non-refundable deposit of $500 to reserve your space. Due to only accepting one puppy at a time, we have to charge the deposit.

--We are happy to give you a virtual tour of our home and property, but if you are dropping off personally, we do ask that puppies be dropped off quickly and with no long goodbyes, because that's easiest on them -- and then on us!
--All board & train clients are welcome to email us with questions for as long as they have their dog(s).
